No. 189: Photo flicker.

Today's fire pic: candle flame. I tried to get a shot of the flame flickering rather than just slowly burning to. I blew on the candle just enough not to blow it out altogether, but enough to get the flame dancing around. Using the burst shot on my camera also helped quite a bit.

No. 188: Flamin' eck!

This week, FIRE! I thought that I might start with an easy one; matches. The flame looks dramatic as the it bursts from the match head. Ruth wasn't too happy that I'd used half the box of matches, oooops!

No. 187: Picture Perch-fect

First off apologies for the post title it seemed a good idea at the time. We all went to Perch rock in New Brighton this morning to get some fresh sea air and so that I could shoot the last picture for this weeks watery theme. More photo's next week.

No. 186: Crowning glory.

Ooooh, so close and yet so far. Try as I might it's proving difficult to get this damn crown. After spilling water all over the bedroom floor I thought it best not to push my luck any more. I will  get the shot I'm looking for.

No. 185: Frustration!

Arrrrrrrrrrrgh! I tried to get that illusive crown shot and failed! Rubbish, I did come close a couple of times but the images where not good enough. If anyone has any advice then please spill, (try and avoid Photoshop, or any other post processing cheats).

I was a bit stumped tonight for ideas, but I'm pleased with the result. Hope I can get more inspiration tomorrow.

Half way through this project now and it was off to Eccleston mere. The boats were out but the sun definitely wasn't.
