Ruth caught these lazy pair when she was cutting back the Hoster. Snuggled up together they where waiting to pounce on those nice juicy leaves.

Caught this unfortunate Daddy-long-legs (or Very-long-legs as Emily calls them), in a spiders web. At least it it helped me get tonight's shot, thanks Mr Spider.

Spotted this little fella' on a walk with Henry around the park. It won't be long now before these little critters start coming into the house to keep warm as winter starts to set in.

I nearly forgot that we had these Gothic type goblets. They look really theatrical, especially when you pretend the red wine is blood, Mwahahahahah!....ahem.

Just a quick one today, not had too much time what with Sophie and Emily telling me what they did on there first day back at school for another year and having to go out and get Sophie a new school bag!

No. 215: Pier-ing out to the horizon.

I'm quite chuffed with today's photo. A short drive out to Southport and head off to the sea again, and in particular the pier. After a few shots using my new 10 stop, (long exposures ahoy), and eventually coxing my daughters out of the sea, soaked, we went for walk topside. A nice afternoon had by all.
